3. Travel in the Off Season
The peak season is the busiest travel time for a destination because it is when that location gets the best weather. However, in many places you can find pleasant weather in the shoulder season or off season too, while avoiding the high prices.
For example, visit Europe in the spring and summer rather than the winter. Or travel to Thailand in June or July – it’s the rainy season but it will only rain for an hour or two out of the day and the sun will still shine. There is less demand for travel in the off season, which means better choices and cheaper prices on tours, flights and accommodation for you.
