5. Try Progressive Muscle Relaxation

Sitting for too long on a long haul flight can leave you feeling stiff and uncomfortable, so progressive muscle relaxation can be a great way to get the blood flowing and combat this. Start from your feet and work your way up to your head, squeezing each group of muscles separately for ten seconds before releasing them. Start by squeezing your toes, then relaxing them. Do the same motion with your feet, your ankles, your calf muscles then your thighs, etc. Work your way up your body to your stomach, chest, shoulders, fingers, neck and jaw. Once you have gone through all of your muscles from head to toe, you will be feeling so much more relaxed and comfortable.
