10. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
Ngozi is almost solely responsible for improving Nigeria’s economy, wiping out billions of dollars of the country’s debt. As Finance Minister, she also implemented programs for women and girls, focusing on encouraging entrepreneurship and job creation.
During her time as Managing Director of the World Bank, Ngozi provided food and financial assistance to some of the poorest countries in the world. She’s also a member of some of the most powerful global financial organizations and consistently ranks as one of the most influential women in the world.
