No Christmas would feel complete without the smell of delicious treats baking in the oven. Baked goods make the holidays taste sweeter and cozier, the perfect combination for making us feel good all over.

Before you hit the kitchen to whip up a batch of sugar cookies or fruit cake to share, consider one of these unique Christmas treats instead to bake for friends and family alike.

1. Snowman Cupcakes

An easy baking project that even the little ones can help with only requires a box of cake mix, vanilla frosting, crystallized sugar, butterscotch or peanut butter chips, and chocolate chips. After baking the cupcakes according to the instructions, cover them in frosting and dip them into the sugar.

Flip over the cupcakes and press in the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips to form the face of a happy, smiling snowman.
