7. Consider the Results
This may sound basic, but you must consider the results of your actions in a realistic and logical way. Insulting everyone at your family reunion is not going to inspire a lot of good will for the future. Staying in a loveless, unfulfilling marriage is not going to help your depression or anxiety. Certainly, you can never perfectly predict the consequences of your decisions, but thinking about it objectively will provide a general estimation that can guide your process.
