3. Acquire Opinions
In the situations where data is not enough, collect opinions. Start with your own if you are comfortable and confident with your decision-making record. If your past choices have not always been the best, accept the opinions of trusted friends and supports. Be sure to consider their past choices to weigh their opinions accordingly; the opinion of a terrible decision maker should not count for much. In some situations, having the feedback of a complete outsider is the best way to cut through the emotionality of a difficult situation.
