3. Mood Swings

As the production of estrogen drops so does the production of other mood regulating neurotransmitters, which results in mood swings. Mood swings are fairly common but can be very difficult to handle.

Mood swings can be sudden and intense, causing you to feel up one minute and down the next. Other menopause symptoms such as sleeping problems can also increase the likelihood of mood swings.
