9. Gourmet Salads
Salads are healthy, right? Well, not all salads. Gourmet salads that you might choose at a restaurant often lots of additives including bacon, hard boiled eggs, cheese and unhealthy dressings. One salad can easily contain enough calories for your whole day.
When choosing a salad, look for one that is made up of primarily vegetables with one protein source, such as chicken. Skip the cheese and choose a healthy dressing. Vinaigrettes or simply olive oil and vinegar are excellent choices.
