8. Baked Potatoes
Baked potatoes are often loaded with butter, cheese, sour cream and bacon, eliminating the health benefits of the potato itself. Even a plain baked potato isn’t all that wonderful. Potatoes are a starch, which is broken down into glucose and easily stored as fat in the body.
Potatoes are a great source of energy for your body, but should be eaten in moderation. Instead of having a baked potato, try roasting cauliflower in the oven with a little olive oil and sea salt. It is a delicious, warm and satisfying side.
